Job Description:
The Francis Howell School District is seeking a Director of Human Resources, who has experience as a building administrator, to assist the Chief Human Resources Officer with the leadership and daily management of the human resource functions of the district. Duties will include conducting administrator evaluations, leading/participating in negotiations with employee groups, managing the teacher evaluation system, conducting regularly scheduled labor/management meetings, and staffing.  Other duties will be assigned, as appropriate.

Basic Qualifications:
 
  • Master’s Degree in Education or related field
  • Principal or Superintendent Certification
  • Experience as a building administrator or in a school leadership role (5 years preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office software
  • Experience in dealing with HR related issues: labor group negotiations, employee discipline issues, staffing, conflict resolution, employee evaluation, etc.
Timelines:
Position start date:  July 1, 2024
 
Starting Salary:
Commensurate with education and experience, a minimum of $100,000. 12 month working contract.
