Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR)
The De Soto School District, located in De Soto, Missouri, is seeking a Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) for the 23-24 school year. This individual will provide occupational therapy and evaluations/consultations to meet students’ educational needs. The OTR will communicate, train, and consult with all necessary staff on the use of materials and equipment, and provide direct occupational therapy services to eligible students within the district.

District Facts:
Current enrollment-- approximately 2,700 students.
Current number of certified staff—approximately 190
100% 1:1 technology integration with Chromebooks grades K-12
Basic Qualifications:
Starting pay at Step 0 (Masters Column) - $43,000/year; 185 day contract. The district allows up to 7 steps for experience.

- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist (OT) program.
- Registered with NBCOT.
- Current state licensure.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up children.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent human relation skills.
- Knowledge of office equipment (computers, copiers, fax machines, and related items).
- Follow federal, state and local legal guidelines and Board policies and procedures.
