Job Description:
Fr. Tolton Catholic High School currently has an opening for a long-term substitute to teach two periods of human anatomy/physiology.

Responsibilities:

? Teaches Human Anatomy and Physiology for two periods per day (11:30 – 2:30) from approximately the end of September to the end of November 2023
? If needed, could be offered additional substitute opportunities
? Utilizes technology to impact student learning and increase communication
? Demonstrates support for the mission of Fr. Tolton Catholic High School by attitude, words, actions, and integrity
? Assists in maintaining discipline throughout the student body, in adherence to the Student Handbook
? Serves with parents, faculty, and student groups, as requested in advancing educational and related activities and objectives
? Possibility to sponsor, coach, or supervise extra-curricular activities
? Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal

Qualification:

? Sufficient knowledge of biology and / or anatomy & physiology
? Have completed (or almost completed) a bachelor's degree
? State teaching licensure/certificate is preferred but not a hiring prerequisite
? Familiarity with Google Suite (Gmail, docs, sheets, etc), Google Classroom, and RenWeb/FACTS is preferred
? Understands the high school education culture and is able to interact professionally with students, faculty, and parents
? Ability to maintain professionalism in challenging situations

Physical Demands and other requirements:
? Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks such as computer keyboarding, writing, and reading
? Required to monitor students in a variety of locations including those with noise and activity
? Required to maintain composure and to communicate appropriately in words and actions
