Qualifications
Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Education
Certification for the position as required by the Missouri State Board of Education
Reports to: Secondary Principal
Job Goal: To help each student acquire the knowledge, skills, and values to become a productive member of society.
Performance Responsibilities:
Evaluation Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board of Education policy of Evaluation of Professional Personnel.

Performance Responsibilities:
- Translates lesson plans into learning experiences so as to best utilize the available time of instruction.
- Demonstrates knowledge of subject matter and participates in selected professional growth activities in the teaching area and in other areas of educational improvement.
- Participates in faculty committees and sponsorship of school activities.

- Demonstrates an ability to motivate students to develop their full potential.
- Establishes and maintains standards of pupil behavior needed to provide a productive classroom environment.
- Follows policies and procedures of the school district as developed by the Board of Education and Administration.
- Demonstrates positive interpersonal relationships with students, parents, peers, and school administration.
- Supervises students in out-of-classroom activities, hallways, etc.
- Shares other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the administration.
