Position Summary: Responsible for providing care to Students and staff under the supervision of the Lead District Nurse.
Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent Current BLS

Position Summary: Responsible for providing care to Students and staff under the supervision of the Lead District Nurse.
Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent Current BLS
- CPR and First aid Certification
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology
- Basic math skills required
- Diabetic experience or willingness to learn
- Medication administration
- Respecting HIPAA compliance is essential.
- CNA, CMT, LPN, EMT Certifications preferred
- Provides first Aid in accordance with the “Health Procedure Manual” and ”School District Policies”
- Administer medication under the supervision of the Building Nurse/Principal
- Document student visits, care, dispositions and medications administered.
- Performs clinical duties as assigned by the building school/lead Nurse
- Maintains confidentiality of all information encountered in the scope of responsibilities
- Consults with the Lead District Nurse when a situation is outside the scope of practice.
- Provides information to parents regarding student health community resources as directed by the Lead District Nurse or Building Nurse
- Performs general clinical duties as assigned, trained and supervised by the Lead District Nurse.
- Clean and Neat appearance excellent communication skills (Scrubs and closed toed shoes)
- Team Player and Flexibility is a must
- Summer School Duties Split between Nursing Staff
- Hazel Health Clinic (Virtual Clinic) Visits when needed
- Health/Community Resource to staff when needed
