Job Posting: After-School Child Care Provider

currently seeking a dedicated and experienced After-School Child Care Provider to join our team. This

Position: After-School Child Care Provider
Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 2:45 PM - 6:00 PM
Wednesday: 1:45 PM - 6:00 PM
Location: Gateway Science Academy-Smiley Campus
6576 Smiley Ave. 63119

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage with children during after-school hours, fostering a safe and nurturing
• environment.
• Assist with homework, projects, and educational activities.
• Organize and participate in recreational games, arts and crafts, and other age-appropriate
• activities.
• Ensure children's safety at all times and follow established protocols.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding daily activities, any concerns, or noteworthy accomplishments. 

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children is essential.
• College experience in education, child development, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.

Compensation: Starting $15 per hour
