MANDATORY MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• • High School Diploma preferred
  • Experience within the childcare profession preferred

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in providing a learning environment for children that encourages imagination and self-discovery using hands-on activities
• Ensure a comfortable, clean, and safe environment for children
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality with the students, parents, and staff
• Work a flexible schedule, which at times includes early and late hours
• Keep the director informed of all pertinent information regarding phases of the center’s programs
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate records, such as attendance, lunch counts, daily reports, and accident/illness reports
• Substitute for classroom teacher when needed
• Complete twelve clock hours of child-related training at the center per calendar year

• Any other duties as assigned

TERMS: Full-time with benefits; $14.19+ per hour depending on experience
EFFECTIVE: Immediately
