Job Description:

• All positions are subject to adequate enrollment and are temporary summer positions
• No fringe benefits
• Program location is Affton Early Childhood Center
• Positions needed for preschool-age camps
• Summer School employment is a commitment to work all days in the session
• Stipend is $12.67/hour – max of 52 hrs/session

                                                              
Time Frame
            Tentative program dates:
                        Session 1 ->  June 5 – 16, 2023
                        Session 2 ->  June 20 – 30, 2023
                            (Not in session on June 19th)
                        Session 3 ->  July 3 – 14, 2023
                            (Not in session on July 4th)
                        Session 4 ->  July 17 – 28, 2023

            Program is 8 weeks (4 sessions of two weeks)
            Preschoolers will be in session daily from 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
            Staff Assistants work Monday - Friday, 5 hours/day
            Position also works equivalent of 2 hrs/session, for pre/post program preparation
            Juneteenth on June 19th is a non-work/school day
            Dates may be adjusted by administration as needed
            Summer ECE staff assistants pay dates TBD in July and August


QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum of 60 college credit hours & Missouri substitute teaching certificate required
• Bachelor’s degree and appropriate Missouri teaching certification preferred
