Audiometrist (Hearing Screener) Part- Time
REPORTS TO: Audiologist
DEPARTMENT: Audiology
POSITION OVERVIEW
The primary responsibility of the Hearing Screener is to work with a team under the direction of a team leader going to one or two schools per day. Students from odd numbered grades (1,3,5. etc.) are screened each year. Training is provided by the audiologists, prior to work being performed. Normal screening schedule is approximately ten weeks in the fall
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Instruction and Learning – Student achievement/performance and staff growth
Education and Experience
•High school diploma or equivalent and professional or volunteer experience with children preferred.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
Salary: $20.00/hr

- Working with other screeners and school nurses.
