Orchard Farm School District is seeking a Data Systems Manager!
 
Under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent, the Data Systems Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing, maintaining, evaluating, and improving District data systems, including the student information system, as well as coordinating District data collection and reporting processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plan, deploy, configure, evaluate, and improve District data systems.
    • Oversee and administer district data applications including, but not limited to, student information systems, HR/Finance systems, food service systems, hosted web systems, cloud-based systems, and large-scale assessment applications.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant data privacy and security laws, policies, and regulations.
    • Coordinate data systems user account maintenance.
    • Manage internal auditing of systems including system performance and data quality.
    • Maintain system documentation including standard operating procedures and knowledge base information.
    • Develop and coordinate processes for the evaluation of new and existing data systems.
  • Coordinate the accurate and timely collection and conveyance of federal, state, and local data.
    • Manage the collection, validation, and accurate reporting of DESE-required state data including MOSIS and Core Data reporting.
    • Support accurate and complete data collection among faculty and staff across multiple departments.
    • Stay current on changes to state reporting requirements and collaborate with key personnel to ensure compliance.
  • Monitor, maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot District databases.
    • Develop and maintain programs and queries to assist with internal data quality auditing and reporting.
    • Coordinate the secure exchange of data between systems. Maintain high-levels of collaboration and communication with the technology team and other faculty, staff, and administration.
  • Provide end-user support for district parents utilizing the parent portal.
  • Provide end-user support and professional development for district data systems.
  • Pursue and apply ongoing, job-related professional development to enhance professional and technical skills.
  • Develop and foster vendor relationships to ensure high levels of service.
  • Ensure district accounts are active or disabled based on enrollment or employment status.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university or extensive experience in Technology, Educational Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
  • Experience with student information systems and other educational applications preferred.
  • Experience with the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) state reporting requirements, preferred. 
$29.00 - $35.00/hour
12 month position, Full-Time
