Job Summary/Purpose: Performs a wide variety of administrative activities in the Human Resources Department in overall support to certified staff at the secondary staff level and to the Chief Human Resources Officer of the District.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred
Knowledge/Skills: Broad knowledge of principles and practices of sound Human Resources management as well as school law, state and federal statutes related to employment
Experience: 1-3 years of appropriate experience; experience with advanced skills in Microsoft Office and office administration.
 
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Administer daily employment activities of the HR Department for certified staff and extra duty
  • Maintain accuracy of the District's position control, HRIS system and payroll tables
  • Process annual contracts and letters for certified and extra duty staff
  • Conducts employment activities for all substitutes, service agreements, and auxiliary employees
  • Leads the transitions of HR processes and documents to the on-line personnel management system

Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Friday
Salary: $19.42
