Job Summary/Purpose: Processes payroll data for both certified and non-certified staff into the payroll system ensuring in the timely and accurate generation of payment to all personnel. Performs various administrative and clerical duties consistent with the requirements of Federal, State and local payroll law, as well as District policy in the payment of District personnel.

Minimum Qualifications: Education - High school diploma or GED required.

Skilled in verbal and written communication, human and public relations, development of spreadsheets, word processing, organization and planning of daily work activities; basic math skills and use of 10 key calculator.  Able to meet District’s testing criteria for position.  Solid understanding of the Board of Education’s policies as they relate to compensation. 

Experience - Computer training and experience in payroll preferred.

Salary: $16.23 per hr
Hours: M-F 8-4:30 year round
