POSITION: IT Support Specialist (Spanish – Speaking) - Part-Time
 
LOCATION:   District Wide 
                    
QUALIFICATIONS:  High school diploma is preferred. College degree or technical training in a related field is a plus.

JOB TITLEIT Support Specialist
 
REPORTS TO: Director of Technology   
 
DESCRIPTION
 
 IT Support Specialist assists the IT team in providing support to end users on a variety of systems and with a variety of software issues.  Identifies, researches and provides solutions to technical and subject matter problems. Assist with incident support and IT projects.
               
EXAMPLE (S) of WORK PERFORMED:
 
  • Troubleshoot, test and fix technology problems for end user
  • Assist users with software installation, upgrades and anti-virus.
  • Assist with the distribution, management and disposition of IT equipment.
  • Assist with the diagnosis of system problems on the IT network.
  • Ensure incidents are logged for IT support.
  • Follow up with users to ensure incidents are resolved.
  • Maintain documentation as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Coordinate with supervisor for priorities and projects.
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
