MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma required
- Experience in training and coordinating personnel and program management
- 60 hours of college credit in an education related field preferred
- Experience within before and after school programs preferred
- Supervise the compliance of students with established program guidelines and procedures.
- Ensure quality supervision of students at all times.
- Ensure compliance and that all SACC employees follow established safety procedures including emergency drills (fire/tornado/ earthquake) and student release procedures.
- Model expectations for students and SACC employees by setting an example.
- Procure substitutes as needed due to personnel absences and instruct those assistants in program procedures in order to ensure program quality and safety.
- Record all fees, tuition, and revenue for the SACC program, and make deposits as necessary.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with SACC students and staff and maintain communication with parents.
- Attend monthly district SACC meetings and keep the building principal and SACC director informed.
- Coordinate the opening (6 a.m.) and closing (6 p.m.) of the program with the SACC lead child care provider, building principal, and/or the SACC district director.
- Maintain a 1:14 student ratio during regular SACC hours.
- Record AM/PM attendance, monthly enrollment and complete an annual report summarizing attendance/enrollment trends.
- Follow purchasing for approved program needs in accordance with MVR-III purchasing procedures and paperwork expectations.
- Be available to work irregular shifts at all SACC sites.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
