ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
CERTIFIED POSITION: High School Counselor
- Four day work week schedule (Tuesday-Friday)
- Full benefits package including health, vision, and dental insurances as well as short-term disability
- 2024-2025 School Year
- A Provisional Certification through DESE can be issued on an emergency basis if within 12 hours of certification completion

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support to the building Principal
- Teach guidance units effectively have a prepare a scheduled by the beginning of September
- Guide students through career and life preparation
- Help students establish goals and develop and use planning skills in collaboration with parents
- Registering and scheduling of students
- Testing coordinator/Proctor for the building (details below)
- Will coordinate/train/prepare staff for testing
- Collaborate with the building principal in development if testing schedule
- Instrumental in preparing students for academic success and guiding all students in an effort to reach their maximum potential which could include college, trade, military, etc. Will include the MO Connections resources to create a four-year plan
- Provides orientation for students new to the school
- Serve as a facilitator for the student support team
- Consults with teachers, staff, and parents regarding meeting the developmental needs of students
- Provide support and guidance to school families
- Build a professional working relationship with middle school families
