Job Description:
The Moniteau County R-1 School District (California, MO) is accepting applications for an Assistant Superintendent position for the 2022-23 school year.
JOB TITLE: Assistant Superintendent
REPORTS TO: Superintendent
      The assistant superintendent is the direct supervisor of the maintenance, technology, and custodial staff.  The superintendent may be assigned other responsibilities. Competent educational leadership is expected, while maintaining a relationship of mutual respect and confidence. The assistant superintendent should assist the superintendent in the broad aspects of personnel, maintenance, technology, custodial, buildings and grounds, capital projects, school safety and security, and school facilities.  The assistant superintendent will assist the superintendent substantially and effectively in the task of providing leadership in developing, achieving and maintaining the best possible educational programs and services.

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Terms of contract determined by Board of Education.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to be mobile between buildings.
EVALUATION: Evaluated annually by Superintendent.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT AND SALARY: Individuals in this position will be employed by contract in accordance with State Statutes and the provisions of the Certified Employee Salary Schedule and Policies GCD, GCG, and GCBC
EVALUATION: Performance-based evaluation will be completed annually in accordance with the provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of professional personnel GCN.
