PURPOSE OF JOB: To help support areas of the Operations staff when needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
The focus of the Operations Specialist will be to help support areas of the Operations staff when needed.  Other duties may be assigned that will help support the school as needed.  The below list of duties is an expectation, but is not inclusive of all possible duties: (Percentage of expected time)
  • Technology (60%):  Copy center duties that include but are not limited to; copying, laminating, binding, scanning, creating documents, inventory, ordering supplies and delivering print materials to staff. Technology responsibilities that include but are not limited to those associated with distributing, collecting and inventory of 1:1 computer devices for students.
  • Central Office (20%):  Central Office duties that include answering phones, checking in visitors, taking and sending messages to the appropriate staff.
  • Student Services (10%): Nurse Assistant duties that include but are not limited to filing, escorting students, contacting parents, supervising students for parent pickup and updating student files. Library duties that include copying, shelving books and monitoring students utilizing library computers.
  • Other Operations Support (10%): Supporting other operations staff with responsibilities in the areas of Food Service, Transportation, Activities/Athletics, Facilities and Safety and Security.
  • College degree strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in a professional office setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook)
  • Highly motivated with strong organizational skills; able to coordinate multiple tasks at one time.
  • Self-starter and able to work independently.
REPORTS TO: Chief Operating Officer


SCHEDULE: Part-time, Monday – Friday (5.5 hours per day/27.5 hours per week)

RATE OF PAY: $25.00 per hour
