JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Principal and in coordination with the marketing and communication team, the Director of Enrollment (DOE) is the lead for all recruitment and admissions activities for the assigned school/campus. The DOE will participate in planning and goal setting and will then implement established plans and strategies effectively to achieve desired goals for new student enrollment. The DOE will serve as the primary point of contact and will provide and coordinate excellent experiences and customer service for all prospective families throughout the recruitment and admissions processes. In collaboration with the Principal, he or she will provide leadership in developing and sustaining middle/elementary school partnerships and relationships in support of the school’s programs. He or she will also provide support to the campus administration in retention efforts and the annual re-enrollment processes for students.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree required, master’s preferred
  • At least 5 years’ experience in admission/recruitment or related areas, work experience in a school setting preferred
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, achieve stated goals and be flexible
  • Proficiency with database entry, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Effective in working with many details in a multitask position and being part of a team
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of cultural differences, cultural adjustment and to connect with and work effectively with diverse populations
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and motivational skills
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule including weeknights and weekends
  • Fully accepts our belief statement and actively exhibits these Christian values and behavior in all they say and do, agreeing to limit their personal expression to remain in alignment with the schools stated religious beliefs and those of our sponsoring church, The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod
  • Must be a member of and in regular attendance at a Christian congregation, a Lutheran church is strongly preferred
