Grade Level Administrative Assistant - Lindbergh High School

  • Hours per day/week: 8 per day, 40 per week
  • Schedule: 12 Month, Monday-Friday
  • Hourly Rate: $16.81 (LAOP Level C)
  • FLSA Status: Non-exempt (eligible for overtime)

SUMMARY: To assist and relieve the administrative supervisor of work and impedimenta so that he/she may devote maximum attention to the central problems of education and educational administration.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.
  • Function as an office manager in coordinating the activities of office support staff.
  • Computer skills of various types, to be used in correspondence, reports, notices and recommendations.
  • Obtain, gather and organize pertinent data as needed and put it into usable form.
  • Maintain a regular filing system as well as a set of locked confidential files, and process incoming correspondence as instructed.
  • Place and receive phone calls and record messages.
  • Order and maintain supplies as needed.
  • Maintain a schedule of appointments and make arrangements for conferences and interviews.
  • Assist with student and staff event planning for the grade level office 
  • Responsible for student enrollment, maintaining school records
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of SIS Student Software beneficial
