The Raymore-Peculiar School District seeks a collaborative, self-starter to configure and maintain all student information systems while providing support to all schools for essential functions, reports, and objectives, as well as to support the district in accessing school online resources. The Student Information System Administrator will also aid the Assistant Superintendent of Academic Services with data and trend analysis and visualization which could include generating reports to assist in the interpretation of statistical data. He or she would perform other duties assigned by the Director of Technology, and support the district and its leadership.

The Student Information System Administrator will report to the Director of Technology, and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, oversee and coordinate student information system functions such as registration, enrollment, system specific professional development, etc.; maintain the integrity of the data; create user accounts and manage permissions for all district users; resolve procedural issues with user training and documentation; facilitate data use through queries, report creation, and exports; create a regular communication schedule to understand data and/or workflow issues, as well as anticipate upcoming major projects; serve as a technical resource to provide information and/or advice regarding active or planned projects; generates and maintains relationships with vendors and support groups for all related job functions, and more.

The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree and have at least 3 years’ experience with a student information system, with an understanding of concepts such as query and reporting. He or she should be able to handle multiple projects concurrently while supporting user groups of variable levels of access and technical knowledge with strong problem-solving and verbal/written communication skills. He or she should be a self-starter, independent worker and proficient in a variety of technology standards including, but not limited to, the Microsoft and Google ecosystems (including Excel/Google Sheets), as well as producing data graphs.

Salary: $53,376 -$61,312 depending on education and previous experience.
