Job Description:

  • Ensure children are supervised in a safe, caring environment 
  • Develop opportunities for free and structured play 
  • Prepare materials and equipment
  • Interact with the children often
  • Provide and assist with development of enrichment activities
  • Assist students with physical or behavioral needs
Recess Support During School Day
  • Supervise students, as needed
  • Assist students with physical or behavioral needs, during transitions
  • Provide behavioral support, as needed
  • Prepare materials and equipment
Lunch Support
  • Supervise students during lunch
  • Facilitate lunch routines
  • Keep accurate ‘point of sale’ records and input into SISK
  • Support the Facilities Manager with special projects as needed
  • Assist with cleaning needs during the day, such as restocking toilet paper or cleaning up spills
  • Complete routine cleaning checklist during designated times
  • Monitor and assist with the general cleanliness of the building and grounds
  • Establish a joyful, structured, and achievement-oriented school culture
  • Establish a routine to improve the overall health and cleanliness of the school facility
  • Complete light cleaning, as assigned by the Facilities Manager or any member of the administrative team
  • Follow guidelines in staff handbook and school district policies
