Job Description:
OPEN POSITION:                Principal – Ninth Grade Center
                       
START DATE:                       2021/2022 School Year

SALARY                                RANGE:      $89,877 - $105,477 (based on experience)

PRIMARY FUNCTION:          The Principal provides instructional leadership including supporting the work of Career Academies (Freshman Academy), professional learning communities, and supervising classroom instruction, curriculum implement and student assessment. Additionally, the Principal is responsible for building administration and cultivating a safe environment that supports inclusion, a student-centered climate and staff engagement, among other duties.

QUALIFICATIONS:   

• Master’s Degree required, specialist or doctorate preferred
• Minimum of three years of successful experience as a classroom teacher
• Successful secondary leadership and supervision experience required
• Valid Missouri Principal Certification for Secondary Principal 
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, extremely detailed and accurate
• Strong computer and interpersonal skills
