Job Description:
The Elsberry R-II School District is seeking highly effective individuals to serve as instructional paraprofessionals capable of working with individuals and small groups of students, primarily in reading instruction. The ideal candidate is:
--Dependable, friendly, and works well with others
--Willing to learn and is flexible adapting to new situations and routines.
--Caring and excited to work with students, but capable of holding students to expectations
--Detail oriented and able to record data
--A good role model for students
--Able to implement direct reading instruction with students as guided by a teacher
--60 college hours or ability to obtain a substitute teacher certification preferred
