School Food and Nutrition Services - Coordinator
School Year 2021-2022

Description:
Responsible for preparing and overseeing the food ordering process and ensuring that all invoices are processed in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Requires 2-5 years of job-related prior experience.
• Requires an Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or technical school.

Essential Job Functions include the following:

• Prepares and processes all invoices, both food and non-food related for SFNS.
• Submits invoices to accounts payable for payment.
• Enters purchase orders for SFNS
• Reviews, analyzes and processes all school managers’ food and non-food orders.
• Orders and inventories all catering supplies for special functions.
• Invoices organizations and departments for special services.
• Assists in the daily supervision and decision making in the SFNS department.
• Assists in the interviewing, evaluating, and training of new employees.
• Orders and inventories government commodities, rotating products when necessary to ensure product safety.
• Networks with other nutrition workers and agencies to keep abreast of new educational tools and programs.
• Assists in the bidding process used to select vendors for new items.
• Upholds sanitation regulations, safety procedures and high standards for food quality.
• Other duties may be assigned.
