Job Description:
Lift For Life Academy is seeking an HR Coordinator to provide assistance to the Human Resource department with onboarding new hires and day to day office needs. Reports directly to Human Resource Director. The position is part-time 25-29 hours per week and we are located in the Soulard neighborhood.
Human Resource Coordinator duties include:
  • Perform Background checks
  • New Hire onboarding
  • Setting up new hires in timekeeping system
  • Data entry for new hires and terminations in Kronos and SU
  • Assist HR Director and HR Generalist as needed
  • Verification of Employment for Bus Drivers
  • Maintain Personnel Files, filing, organizing, making copies
  • Updating birthdays and phone list spreadsheets
  • Minimum two years in Human Resource and HRIS Database experience.
  • Associate, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office Applications (Word. Excel, PowerPoint), Google Drive, Internet, and E-Mail applications,  Kronos and Software Unlimited Payroll processing software experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to remain neutral and calm under stressful situations.
  • Must have a positive attitude and a problem solver.
  • State and FBI fingerprint background clearance and Family Care  Safety Registry clearance
  • COVID-19 test prior to the start date
