Work Schedule per week: Monday through Friday approx. 7am to 4 pm

Job Summary
The Program Assistant position is a key team member in the daily operations of the Corporate Work-Study Program (CWSP) at Cristo Rey Kansas City. The person holding this position will support the department's program clerical needs and provide administrative support to the Director, Associate Director and Program Coordinators.  In addition, the Program Assistant will have a chance to build on current program relationships and assist in student relations.

Essential Job Functions
  • General clerical duties including copying, scanning and mailing
  • Provide customer service and communication to client portfolio
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
  • Manage requests for information and data
  • Resolve administrative problems and inquiries
  • Coordinate maintenance of office equipment
  • Other tasks as assigned

  • Appreciation of Catholic education with an emphasis on urban education
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects and requests
  • Ability to work independently and in cooperative team settings
  • Highly self-disciplined and detailed oriented
  • Exceptional problem solving and communication skills
  • Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, with particular emphasis on Excel
  • Knowledge of modern office equipment and software
  • Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record keeping
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management
  • Flexibility in work schedule to include some evening and weekend work
  • Must possess valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Report
  • Event planning and implementation
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience performing similar duties
  • Fluent in English language required; Bi-lingual in Spanish helpful
