Job Description:
Willard Public Schools is accepting applications for an Assistant Director of Bands/Percussion Specialist for the 2019-2020 school year. The position will be a full time (1.0 FTE) Instrumental Music teaching position within Willard Intermediate, Middle, and High Schools. The Percussion Specialist is responsible for coordinating all aspects of a vibrant percussion program in grades 6-12. Current teaching responsibilities include
high school marching percussion (front ensemble & battery percussion), high school concert and chamber percussion, assist with three high school concert bands, assist with four jazz bands, coordinate and teach numerous solos and small ensembles, teach grade-level specific intermediate and middle school percussion classes.

Experience and/or knowledge of sound design, marching percussion, chamber and jazz ensembles is preferred.
