Job Description:
The Raymore-Peculiar School District is seeking a highly qualified individual for the position of Human Resources Specialist.  Candidate must have excellent communication skills, computer knowledge, possess a friendly and welcoming attitude, and be able to support a broad array of human resources services. Primary job responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
  • Administers a wide variety of personnel policies and programs including recruiting websites; application software; employee evaluation software; etc.
  • Develops a wide variety of written materials (e.g. forms, procedures, reports, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, providing written reference, and/or conveying information.
  • Processes and coordinates requests from pre-service professionals to observe, complete practicums, and/or complete student teaching/internships.
  • Assists with payroll functions.
  • Maintains the Human Resources webpage.
  • Supports other Human Resources staff to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the department
  • Bachelor's degree or experience in Human Resources preferred
  • Proficiency with computer applications, specifically Microsoft Office and Google required
Salary: $33,425 - $36,899/year depending on education and previous experience. (260 day calendar including paid holidays; 8 hour workday)
