Job Description:
The Pleasant Hill R-III School District is currently seeking applicants for the position of: Assistant Director of Special Services / Process Coordinator

Qualifications:  A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in special education and an extensive knowledge of the Special Services referral process. Valid Missouri Special Education Teacher Certificate, Experience in evaluation, diagnosis & special education service delivery. Applicant must be a Team player with excellent communication skills and have excellent time management skills. Administrator certificate or Director of Special Education Certificate preferred but not required.

Job duties will include but are not limited to:  maintain the special services referral process throughout the district, arrange and conduct placement staffings, help maintain all programs and records under special services. Additional duties may include participation in district administration meetings and working with staff for training purposes.

Contract Length:
Teacher contract plus 10 days
