NOTICE OF VACANCY
ELEMENTARY ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL
SCHOOL YEAR 2019-2020

The Hancock Place School District in South St. Louis County, MO is accepting applications for the position of Elementary Assistant Principal.  The Hancock Place School District serves approximately 1,550 students in PreK-12 and employs over 150 staff members.  The District’s boundaries are River Des Peres on the North, the Mississippi River on the East, Jefferson Barracks on the South, and Interstate Highway 55 on the West.
The position of Elementary Assistant Principal is responsible for serving to assist the building principal in the effective and efficient operations of the school.

Assistant Principal--Elementary
 
Qualifications:
  1. Master’s Degree or higher, with a major in Educational Leadership or Administration
  2. Valid Missouri Principal’s Certification
  3. Minimum of three (3) years as a classroom teacher
  4. Prior administrative or supervisory experience, preferred
 
Compensation:
Competitive salary and benefits commensurate with education and experience
Anticipated salary range:  $75,000 - $90,000
 
Start Date: July 1, 2019
Terms:  260 Day Contract 
Posting Date:  February 8, 2019

Anticipated Hire Date:  April 11, 2019
