Job Description:


                                                                  DETAILS:
 

• All positions are subject to adequate enrollment and are temporary summer positions
• No fringe benefits
• Program location is Affton High School
• Positions needed include credit recovery/advancement in Physical Education and English-Language Arts
• There may also be the need for certified teachers to monitor online course completion
• Summer School employment is a commitment to work all days in the program
• Stipend is $156/day – $1,716 / $3,276 (For 1 or 2 sessions)

Time Frame
            Tentative program dates for credit recovery and advancement:
                        Session 1 ->  June 3 – 14, 2019
                        Session 2 ->  June 17 – 28, 2019
            Program is 4 weeks (2 sessions of 10 days)
            Grades 9-12 will be in session Monday - Friday, 6 hours/day (+ 20 min. lunch)
            Teachers work Monday - Friday, 6.5 hours/day (+ 20 min. duty free lunch)
            Position also works equivalent of 1 day, for pre/post program preparation
            Dates may need to be adjusted if weather make-up days are used
            9-12 Summer School teachers will be paid on Friday, July 5, 2019


QUALIFICATIONS:

• Requires a bachelor’s degree and appropriate Missouri teaching certification
