Job Description:
A speech-language pathologist (SLP) works with students ranging in age from 5-21 years on communication skills. These skills can include articulation, all aspects of language (phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics), augmentative/alternative communication, fluency, and/or voice. The SLP works directly with classroom teachers, therapists, other school staff (occupational therapists, board-certified behavior analysts, residential staff, etc.), and families to collaborate on IEP goals and their implementation.

  • Possess a current, valid MO class E driver's license and meet the Great Circle requirements for driver’s insurance
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language proficiently.
  • Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality in all transactions and communications.
Required Education and Experience

Master’s Degree in speech-language pathology
Missouri license to practice speech-language pathology from the Missouri Board of Healing Arts
Completed CPR and First Aid training

Preferred Education and Experience

Experience working with children and families in a trauma informed environment
