Substitute Teachers All Schools-Elementary/Middle and High School
The Brentwood School District seeks creative, flexible, student-centered individuals to serve as Substitute Teachers for the 2018/2019 school year.
Brentwood is a small district with a diverse community of learners - and works hard to meet the needs of all learners while maintaining high expectations. Our substitute teachers provide our students with a continual learning while our classroom teachers are absent.  The successful candidate will demonstrate an appreciation of academic and cultural diversity, a passion for teaching school, a commitment to on-going professional growth and becoming an integral part of the whole school community.
According to the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, substitute teachers must have a minimum of 60 college credit hours to qualify for a substitute certificate, or hold a current Missouri Teacher Certificate.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 60 college credit hours are required AND a current substitute certificate Required.
  • Current Missouri Teacher Certificate.
  • Experience as a substitute teacher in early childhood/elementary/middle or high school setting.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive rapport with students.
  • Ability to meet the requirements of the district’s teacher job description.
