ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE ASSISTING HEAD COACH WITH:

• Leading all aspects of the HS girls volleyball program.
• Planning and conducting practices and conditioning.
• Teaching strategy, and teamwork in a positive and encouraging environment.
• Directing, mentoring, and motivating players in-season and out-of-season.
• Collaborating and assisting with out-of- season conditioning including the MSHSAA designated preseason practice period, summer contact days, offseason, and strength training.
• emphasizing player growth, discipline, work ethics and sportsmanship.
• Ensure the physical safety of all student-athletes, including adhering to medical protocols and ensuring required paperwork is completed.
• Maintaining open, professional communication with athletes, parents, school administration, and athletic directors.
• Serving as a positive role model for student-athletes.
• Knowledge and understanding of the MSHSAA by-laws.

 
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

• Completing all MSHSAA requirements for coaching
• Availability for upcoming summer events

 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS INCLUDE:

• The employee may frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.  The employee is frequently required to feel, grasp, push, reach with hands/arms, stoop, kneel, crawl, perform repetitive wrist, hand and/or finger movement, and move up or down from/to sitting position.
