Job Description:
HF Epstein Hebrew Academy is an independent, private Jewish Orthodox school located in University City which serves students 2 years old through 12th grade, approximately 150 students. Average class range is from 5-15. It is accredited through Cognia.
Students explore their studies through unique, interdisciplinary hands-on experiences that help develop intellectual curiosity and promote creativity. Our dedicated teachers reach beyond the parameters of the classroom to enrich, innovate and help foster a love of learning. At Epstein Hebrew Academy, we facilitate learning through guided instruction, leading a child to mastery while supporting the child’s needs. Our curriculum is standards-based and aligned to Missouri state standards, as well as Next Generation Science Standards.
Half of our day is Judaics and Hebrew studies and the other half is General Studies. We offer Specials including STREAM, art, music and PE. We accommodate individual student learning plans with on site therapists, tutors and counselors. Technology tools utilized in learning include 1:1 chromebooks and Smartboards in all classrooms.
