Job Description:

Interventionist - Certified
The Kirkwood School District is hiring two Interventionists for the 2026–2027 school year to support North Glendale Elementary School.

North Glendale Elementary thrives on creativity, collaboration, and a strong sense of community.  We are looking for a teacher who is committed to fostering a love of learning through meaningful relationships and engaging instruction. 
 
Candidates must be certified to teach in the state of Missouri (Elementary 1 - 6 certification).
 
Interventionists are expected to: 

• Develop interventions for students who are not meeting expectations in an academic subject area, including working with individuals or small groups of students while also supporting universal instruction.
• Collect and analyze school-wide data to identify needs and monitor the progress students make in response to interventions.
• Support the social, emotional, physical, and academic well-being and growth of students.
   

This is a full-time certified teaching position, with benefits, including:

Salary is based on the Certified Salary Schedule, dependent on relevant education & experience.
