Job Description:
POSITION:  JOURNEYMAN MECHANIC/TECHNICIAN - Filling 2 positions
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintain gasoline and diesel engines
2. Use heavy-duty welding and other equipment
3. Use electronic diagnostic equipment
4. Repair air brakes
5. Drive school bus when necessary
6. Assist with snow removal
7. Perform routine shop maintenance
8. Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must have 5 years of experience with gasoline and diesel engines.
2. Must have mechanical ability with heavy equipment and experience with electronic diagnostic equipment.
3. Must have a working knowledge of air breaks (essential).
4. Must be able to obtain a state vehicle inspector’s license.
5. Must be in satisfactory physical condition.

Required to have or obtain license requirements, in order to drive a School Bus.
