Teacher Assistant - Literacy (LTA) - Dressel Elementary

• Monday-Friday, 3.5 hours/day; 17.5 hours/week
• Part-time position, Schedule to follow student calendar
• Hourly Rate: $22.81
• Substitute Certification Required; Missouri Teacher Certification Preferred
• Non-exempt
• Benefits not included

Summary: Works with classroom teacher (typically grades K-2) and leads small group reading instruction to support student learning. 
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Typically grades K-2, works in classroom with small group on reading instruction (comprehension, fluency, decoding, vocabulary)
• Communicate with the classroom teachers frequently to share data and observations
• Plan and restock shelves with the guided reading library books
• Other duties as assigned
