Raymore-Peculiar School District is seeking an imaginative and engaging Elementary Art Teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year! Our ideal candidates will design engaging and meaningful art experiences that encourage self-expression, creativity, and artistic skill development. This educator will play a key role in helping students explore a wide range of media, techniques, and art history while promoting critical thinking and appreciation for the visual arts. The qualified candidate should hold or be eligible for a valid Missouri Certificate for grades K-5.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver art instruction aligned with district, state, and national standards.
- Create a classroom environment that supports exploration, creativity, and respect for diverse perspectives.
- Introduce students to a variety of artistic media and techniques.
- Manage art materials, equipment, and supplies efficiently and safely.
- Display and celebrate student artwork in school and community settings.
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues to support student growth.
- Salary schedule placement acknowledging highest level of education and ALL years of previous teaching experience as allowed by the salary schedule
