- Training and competitive salary starting up to $28.00/hour.
Essential job duties including but not limited to:
- Transport students over specified routes according to an established time schedule
- Transport students to events and field trips
- Comply with traffic regulations
- Drive safely and professionally
- Enforce the students discipline code
- Perform required pre-trip/post-trip inspections
- Supervise students while transporting them
- Understand written and verbal instructions
- Ability to read and interpret maps
- Ability to write reports for pre and post trip inspections and student discipline
- Ability to problem solve in a logical manner
- Ability to remain calm and patient at all times
- Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds occassionally
- Ability to use close, distance and peripheral vision as well as depth perception
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent
- Missouri commercial driver's license with P & S endorsements, required within 20 days of hire.
- Will train the right candidate with a permit CDL
- No experience necessary, will train the right candidate.
- Prior school bus experience, preferred.
