Job Description:
Special School District (SSD) board-certified behavior analysts (BCBAs) provide applied behavior analysis in support of students throughout St. Louis County. Through your thorough and careful assessment and ongoing monitoring of students, you will create and supervise plans to ensure they develop the skills they need to thrive and feel empowered. As a valued member of an educational team including special education teachers, paraprofessionals, and registered behavior technicians, you will also foster skills and knowledge among your colleagues, offering coaching and modeling to ensure students receive consistent therapy.
BCBAs work during school hours, Monday through Friday. The start and end times may vary depending on the building assignment. Occasional work after school hours may be required. Travel is required as the position will oversee multiple school buildings from K-12.

Salary
- $62,632 to $104,277/yr. based on education and experience

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in special education, behavior analysis, or a related field required
- Master's Degree in special education, behavior analysis, or a related field preferred
- Specific experience in behavioral and instructional strategies training related to working with individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health diagnoses preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCABA) required
- License issued by the Division of Professional Registration (LBA) preferred
- 12-month
