Job Description:
his position is for the 2025-2026 school year and is teaching 5th and 6th graders concepts of vocal music. At Fire Prairie Upper Elementary, there are two vocal music teachers for collaboration and partnership in teaching and planning.
Starting salary is $45,200, with a vocal music stipend starting at $1,808 for extra duties associated with concerts. We accept all previous years in certificated teaching roles as steps on the salary schedule. The Fort Osage School District prioritizes a highly competitive salary schedule, with additional benefits including optional fully paid health insurance, career ladder stipends (up to $5,000), extra duty stipend opportunities and more. New teachers mentor program available for all first and second year teachers.
Certification in Missouri Vocal Music K-12 required.
