Job Description:
Villa Duchesne is seeking a full-time, experienced Administrative Assistant to the Upper School Principal. This candidate will have a high school diploma (bachelor’s degree in education or similar preferred) and have previous administrative assistant experience. This position is responsible for ensuring that the Office of the Principal operates in an efficient manner and provides assistance to the Principal, faculty, students, and parents.  
The ideal candidate will also:
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Principal and act as a first point of contact for parents, students, and visitors to the Principal’s office;
  • Answer phones, maintain calendars, make appointments, and handle correspondence when requested;
  • Schedule substitutes for classroom teachers, as needed; and
  • Assist with the coordination of special events and all calendar items with those that are involved.
