Special School District (SSD) teacher assistants, also known as paraprofessionals, support students and teachers in special education classrooms throughout St. Louis County. Through your diligent care, supervision, and encouragement, you will serve as a valued member of an educational team focused on ensuring students have what they need to thrive and feel empowered. You will be provided with exclusive professional development and growth opportunities to gain skills and experience in core educational specialties. Teacher assistants work during school hours, Monday through Friday. The start and end times may vary depending on the building assignment.

- $22.00 to $38.00/hr. based on education and experience
