Job Description:
The Northwest R-I School District seeks an enthusiastic and student- centered individual to fill this position for the 2025-26 school year. The successful candidate will be part of a high-energy and enthusiastic team of professionals, dedicated to meeting the academic, social and emotional needs of students.
Administrative Intern will receive a stipend of $6200.00 plus an extra duty contract for 16 extra days paid at their daily rate.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists the principal in the general administration of the school.
- Serves as principal in the absence of the Principal.
- Represents District policy and procedures to staff, students, and parents.
- Coordinates development processes for students and staff.
- Proposes schedules of classes and extra curricular activities.
- Assists the principal with establishing and maintaining an effective site-based program for staff development, technology, and school operations.
- Assists in maintaining discipline throughout the student body.
- Supervises co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
- Supervises and evaluates staff as directed by principal.
- Conducts teacher observations under supervision of building administration.
- Promotes building and District goals.
- School liaison with the community.
- Observes and evaluates students’ progress.
- Participates in necessary meetings including special education, at risk, parent and other related tasks.
- Participates in all events associated with the school program and District.
- Committed to professional growth and the School Improvement Plan.
- Other related duties as assigned by the Administration.
