Job Description:
We are currently seeking a second grade teacher at Allen Village School in Kansas City. This position would work closely withtwo other teachers in the primary academy. The average class size in our primary academy is 18. We are offering a $2000 signing bonus for this position. The starting salary for a beginning teacher with a bachelor’s degree at Allen Village is $44,057.
Allen Village is a charter school that opened as a K-8 institution in Kansas City in 1999. We are the oldest charter school in Kansas City and one of the top in the area. We keep our enrollment between 420-450 for our K-12 program in an effort to maintain smaller classrooms and a more personal environment.
