Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary Multi-Lingual Teacher to join our team. This role involves planning and co-teaching in a collaborative environment to support the learning and development of elementary students, particularly English Language Learners (ELL). The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging classroom atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of ELL students.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to co-teach and enhance the learning experience.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning goals.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and needs.
- Stay current with best practices in language acquisition and instructional strategies for ELL students.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education
- Valid teaching certification with a focus on English Language Learning or Multi-Lingual Education.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly ELLs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.
Salary Description
Starting at $50,000 or more, based on experience
