Raymore-Peculiar School District is seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Physical Education Teacher to join our dynamic team for the 2025-2026 school year! The ideal candidate is committed to fostering a positive, engaging, and healthy learning environment where students develop lifelong fitness habits and a strong understanding of health and wellness. The qualified candidate should hold or be eligible for a valid Missouri Certificate for Physical Education.  Additional certification in Health is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging PE and health education lesson plans aligned with state and national standards.
  • Teach students fitness, sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment where all students feel encouraged to participate.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
  • Ensure student safety and enforce appropriate gymnasium/field protocols.
  • Collaborate with faculty, administration, and parents to support student development.
  • Maintain equipment and monitor supplies for physical education activities.
