Job Description:
Premier Charter School is looking for a certified special education teacher for the 2025-26 School Year. We have opportunities in early childhood (Prek-1), elementary (2-5), and middle school (6-8).
Missouri Certification in Special Education
Strong command of the English language
Strong organizational and planning skills
Strong interpersonal skills
A desire to teach using project based learning
A desire to build relationships with students and team members.
A desire to be creative, curious, and teach lessons using project based learning.
A desire to teach the whole child, including social and emotional.
A desire to learn, to adapt, and to grow professionally.
A positive outlook
A growth mindset
A desire to work with diverse learners and to appreciate differences in students and co-workers.
A desire to empower students in their learning and growth.
Please note that we are waiting for our final budget to be approved, and the salary will be increased for the 2025-26 school year. The current starting salary is $50,000.
