Certified Nurses Assistant Clinical Supervisor (CNA) - Lindbergh High School
Position Schedule: For the 25-26 school year, the daily schedule will be .50 program development, planning, and teaching students. The remainder of the .50 day will be utilized to support the District nursing department and coordinate program planning with the Lead Nurse. For the 26-27 school year, the daily schedule will serve as a full time program CNA Supervisor/teacher for the Lindbergh High School Program.

To qualify as a CNA Clinical Supervisor, applicants must meet the following criteria:

- Starting Salary: $62,000/year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)
- Serves as the lead instructor for Certified Nursing Assistant students, ensuring that students meet educational competencies, and prepare for certification testing. Instructor must prepare and present curriculum to ensure skills are being mastered, and plan for end of course testing. Supervise and instruct high school students during clinical experiences in alignment with the state-approved CNA curriculum.
- Ensure compliance with all Missouri state regulations for CNA training, including adhering to the approved clinical requirements.
- Provide hands-on demonstrations and oversight to students during clinical practice, ensuring patient safety and adherence to ethical and professional standards.
- Assess and evaluate student performance during clinical rotations, offering constructive feedback and guidance.
- Serve as a professional role model for students, fostering a learning environment that emphasizes empathy, critical thinking, and professionalism.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and competency assessments.
- Communicate effectively with program administrators, school staff, and clinical facility personnel.
To qualify as a CNA Clinical Supervisor, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Licensure:
- Be a Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Missouri or hold a temporary permit from the Missouri State Board of Nursing.
- License must be free of any current disciplinary actions.
- Experience:
- A minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience as a RN and at least one (1) year experience in provision of LTC facility services within the last five (5) years (Please be specific in providing your experience).
- Training:
- Successfully complete the Missouri state-approved Train-the-Trainer course for CNA Clinical Supervisors.
- Be listed on the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) CNA Clinical Supervisor Registry.
